In 2006, God told Melva, “You get women to the throne, and I’ll take them from there.” Melva’s “yes” at that moment birthed an annual gathering called Women in Worship, started in 2007. It’s not a conference, but a gathering; a moed where women come together to spend precious time in God’s presence—worshiping, praying, and feeding on His word. Every year the women in attendance are told “your life will never be the same,” and every year God has been faithful to send them out refreshed—changed—better versions of themselves and who He has called them to be.

Since 2007, God has faithfully drawn women from all walks of life to spend time with Him during Women in Worship, from one evening with 200 women the first year to as many as 1000 women throughout the weekend in recent years.
